I was one of the very few weirdos who loved the original Watch Dogs. Sure it had some problems but one area where it succeeded was its version of Chicago was just great place to walk around. Watch Dogs 2 increases this feeling a thousand-fold. The amount of detail in San Francisco and its surrounding areas that will be overlooked by most players is a terrible thing to consider. The work that Ubisoft Montreal have put into every building, street, alley and vehicle is a herculean effort and something that shouldn’t be forgotten in a couple of months. It is a remarkable game world.
I took some time away from hanging out with the other members of DedSec and ran the in-game camera phone into the ground. What was initially only used for selfies (which unlock more selfie gestures), the cameras in Marcus’ pocket, on the RC car and quadcopter captured San Francisco at different times of day. It took a while but I took all these shots in the hopes of highlighting some of the amazing work done by the development team. The truly crazy thing is all of these photos are barely scratching the surface.
